Manton Street and Adam Street junction upgrade
What's happening
We are updating the Manton Street and Adam Street junction to provide additional capacity for citybound traffic by adding an additional left turn lane from Manton Street into Adam Street (eastbound).
This upgrade will also improve public transport efficiency, pedestrian and cyclist safety and access to the River Torrens Linear Path.
This project forms part of the $850 million broader network upgrades for the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) project. These works are essential to the proper functioning of the motorway and wider road network both during and after construction of the T2D project.
To assist with early project planning for the Manton Street and Adam Street upgrade, service relocation works will be undertaken on and around the intersection.
How this affects you
These works will be undertaken on Friday 12 April 2024 between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.
To do this work safely, temporary lane and speed restrictions will be in place. Please plan your trips, be cautious around workers and observe signage.
