The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project is the final 10.5 km section of South Australia’s North-South Corridor. In the coming weeks we will be undertaking ground investigations in your area as part of the early works for the next stage of the project. This will help us to develop a comprehensive picture of the underlying soil and ground water conditions along the South Road corridor.

Location and timing
We will be carrying out investigations at Hartland Avenue, Black Forest.
Investigations works are expected to be on Monday 1 May and Wednesday 3 May for approximately 2-4 hours and will be carried out between 8am and 12pm. In the event that these works need to be rescheduled due to weather conditions or other circumstances outside of our control, we will advise you as soon as we have details.

Traffic restrictions

  • Hartland Avenue will be closed at Forest Avenue.
  • Local access will be maintained via Dunrobin Street or Aroha Terrace.
  • Temporary traffic and speed restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works.
  • Signage will be in place to alert road users to the changes in traffic conditions. Road users are advised to take care when travelling through the area.
  • Driveway access at locations adjacent to the works will be maintained for the duration.

What to expect
During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration.
