Community initiatives
We are committed to working with our communities throughout the life of the T2D Project. Our goal is to minimise the impact on local communities while maximising opportunities for South Australians. We will do this by creating partnerships, connecting communities and enhancing local neighbourhoods.
T2D STEM Futures Program
This program brings the T2D Project into local South Australian primary school classrooms.
Students engage with hands-on, curriculum-aligned experiences that spark curiosity and innovation. They work on real-world STEM challenges connected to work happening on the T2D Project.
The program supports students to build, design, play, create and innovate.
Greening South Road
Integrated environmental and cultural education initiative connecting students with nature while honouring Aboriginal knowledge.
Students participate in hands-on activities to restore the environment along the project corridor with guidance from Kaurna and Aboriginal cultural educators.
Community Partnerships
Celebrating local identity through creative expression and cultural events. Local partnerships aim to empower local communities to create meaningful connections throughout the life of the Project and beyond.
Through this coordinated strategy, the transformation of the Project corridor provides benefits beyond physical infrastructure upgrades, fostering a shared experience that promotes innovation, learning and stronger community connections.
